Beyond the 'A' test, keep progressing forwards!
Until the trainee becomes competent to fly unsupervised, it is usual that an instructor has been responsible for ensuring the model has been set up reasonably well, typically using a 'training' plane.
Once the 'safe solo' level has been achieved, different, faster, more manoeuvrable aircraft come into the frame!
It is important that the pilot progresses sensibly & is still given help to ensure that progress is forward & not backwards.. Beyond the A test training is aimed to help that happen.
You may wish to become comfortable in stalling and spinning an aircraft with clear recovery actions, or you might look to begin flying some neat aerobatic manoeuvres. Both of these will require some confidence (as well as the correct use of rudder!) and it is important to understand what the aircraft is trying to do whilst you are attempting some new manoeuvres.
Again, flights with the company Riot fitted with Flight Coach and a buddy box, is an excellent way to progress quickly and safely.
