If you do not hold a BMFA RCC (Competence Certificate), you will need to answer a minimum of 5 MANDATORY questions, from the pre-published list.

For BOTH tests, you will be asked some SUPPLEMENTAL questions (5 for the A test & 8 for the B test), these are general safety questions taken from BOTH the BMFA Handbook & the site rules at the club where you take the test.

There are no specific questions that you must learn & the questions can form part of a discussion rather than simply quoting the appropriate phrase 'parrot' fashion.
